—LIFE COACHING—

ONE-TO-ONE COACHING

FOR TEEN & YOUNG ADULTS

I work with young people who want to make a change in their lives.

In a space of calm and openness, we explore the frustrations, uncertainties and patterns of thinking that may be holding them back, and how that understanding can become the starting point for change.

In a world of constant distractions, expectations and rapid change, I help young people recognise their own capabilities, trust their judgement and take confident steps in a direction that feels right for them. There is so much individuality, beauty and potential they may not yet recognise in themselves. Sometimes, all it takes is someone who can help them see what has been there all along.

What Is Life Coaching?

Life coaching helps you develop greater clarity and awareness about yourself, your choices and the possibilities ahead of you.

Through individual conversations, we explore what's happening in your life, what matters to you and what you would like to change.

Whether you're navigating friendships, school pressures, relationships or uncertainty about the future, coaching offers a calm, supportive space to develop greater self-awareness, find your own answers and take action.

Coaching can help you:

  • Understand yourself better — recognise your strengths, feelings and patterns of thinking.

  • See things differently — question assumptions and explore new perspectives when you feel stuck.

  • Find your own answers — discover what feels right for you rather than following other people's expectations.

  • Move forward with confidence — turn your ideas into practical steps and meaningful changes.

You don't have to be facing a crisis to benefit from coaching. Sometimes, having someone who genuinely listens and helps you see things more clearly can make all the difference.

WHO IS LIFE COACHING FOR?

Life coaching is for young people who want to understand themselves better, feel more comfortable with who they are, enjoy the present and find their own direction for the future, even when they're not quite sure where to begin.

Teenagers — Navigating friendships, school pressures, family expectations, self-confidence and the challenges of growing up.

Young Adults — Exploring independence, university life, for students learning how to balance academics, relationships, life transitions and personal growth.

For over 20 years, I've worked with teenagers and young adults as a Visual Arts teacher in international schools, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.

Over time, my classroom became much more than a place to teach art. It became a space where students felt comfortable opening up about their lives, relationships, frustrations and ambitions. I discovered that some of the most meaningful moments in teaching happened when we put the schoolwork aside and simply talked.

Those experiences inspired me to take what I loved most about teaching beyond the classroom. That's how With Mariana came about.

What Is It Like Working With Mariana?

Taking time to stop and reflect is the first step towards making a positive change. My role is to create a space where you can explore your thoughts, see things from different perspectives and find your own answers.

You can expect:

  • Open, honest conversations without judgement or pressure.

  • Fresh perspectives that help you see things differently.

  • Practical tools and accountability to turn ideas into action.

  • Encouragement and gentle challenge when you need them.

  • Plenty of humour and curiosity along the way.

ABOUT MARIANA

‍ ‍My Coaching Approach

Practical, honest and encouraging.

I listen, ask questions and challenge assumptions, encouraging young people to think for themselves. My approach is personal, built around each individual's strengths, interests and circumstances.

I believe in giving young people the freedom to explore their own ideas while developing the confidence and responsibility to act on them. The focus is on real progress, not vague ideas — with support, encouragement and a little challenge when needed.

Special Focus: Confidence, Identity, Relationships & Life Transitions
